José-María Ruiz-Ruiz
José-María Ruiz-Ruiz obtained his MSc. in Pedagogy from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM), and his PHd. in Education from the University of Oviedo (1989, maximun grade "Cum Laude"). Currently he is an Associate Professor in the Education Sciences School at UCM.
MEMBER Team Europe, honorific lecturer in the Universidad Nacional de San Marcos (Lima, Peru), and expert in Mediation (Technologies for Conflict Resolutions), Prof. Ruiz-Ruiz's current research interests are focused on competency evaluation models, and strategies and techniques in Higher Education. He has leaded several research projects on strategies and techniques for competency assessment, as well as participated as a researcher in other projects in the fields of technology-enhanced learning, good practices for Higher Education gobernance and management and European Socio-economical integration.
Prof. Ruiz-Ruiz is author of several books and technical papers in journals and conferences in the field of Education gobernance and management, learning and teaching strategies, and competency evaluation.
